Built in 1881, the Top Pub in Uralla was originally called The Great Northern Hotel and was a single ground-floor construction. In 1904, a second floor was added to the hotel and the name changed to The Commercial Hotel. Fast forward past the peeling white paint and smoke-filled rooms of 1995 and you’ll find the Top Pub as it stands today – a slick black building with white trimmings and a beautiful green vine decorating the outside walls. The history, character and charm of this pub create a vibrant atmosphere, inviting patrons to step back in time while enjoying modern comforts and hospitality. While the pub is a popular gathering place for locals, you’ll also find travellers from near and far, many of whom have made the trip especially to dine at the restaurant. Boasting a delicious menu complete with pub favourites such as Chicken Parmigiana and Bangers and Mash, you’ll also find dishes that embrace innovative flavours and sidestep tradition such as the Thai BBQ Salad, Macadamia, Honey & Apple Crusted Pork, or Fig & Brie Garlic Roasted Chicken. YUM! Looking for somewhere to stay while in Uralla? The Top Pub also offers accommodation on-site. With luxury front of mind, each room boasts a comfy  bed, en-suite bathroom and kitchenette complete with a bar fridge, kettle and toaster for guests to enjoy.
