Mount Misery Gold Mine Cafe and Museum

The cafe and museum is a must-visit to learn about the gold mining heritage of Nundle and Hanging Rock. It’s also a central location for hiring gold panning equipment. The stone building is full of character, built in the 1870s, and business owner Lyn Melrose is generous and welcoming. The outdoor seating has a spectacular vista across the village and surrounding countryside. You can even stay at the guesthouse above the cafe.
