Henry’s Cottage is a classic Australian country cottage named after Sir Henry Parkes. In 1879 he gave a speech we now call the Tenterfield Oration, which changed the course of the nation’s history. A four-bedroom home, Henry’s Cottage can accommodate up to 10 people. There’s a comfy lounge inside that faces a crackling log fire, while outside there’s a verandah seating area that overlooks the main street. The cottage has a full-sized kitchen but for those times when you don’t feel like cooking, the Henry’s on Rouse Restaurant is right next door.
