As the name suggests, Bellingen Converted Church was once a place of worship, but has now been reimagined as a Balinese style retreat. There’s a large outdoor living space, Balinese daybed, private bedroom and open loft sleeping spaces. Whip up a meal in the gourmet kitchen, light up the stone firepit or lay back and relax in the outdoor clawed bath. The surrounding landscape features five acres of manicured gardens with fruit and nut trees, and there’s a river you can swim, fish and paddle in just a short walk away.
