CH Boutique Apartments
About 10 minutes drive south of the CH Boutique Hotel is the CH Boutique Apartments. These spacious two or three-bedroom apartments are fully furnished with a large kitchen, laundry and personal courtyard, and six of the 12 apartments are also pet-friendly, so you can bring the whole family – winning! The apartments are within walking distance of the Australian Equine & Livestock Centre, as well as Tamworth’s iconic Big Golden Guitar. Mercure Hotel Tamworth
You know what you’re getting when you stay at the Mercure, and the Tamworth hotel has a number of nice benefits, including an on-site swimming pool, fitness centre and car park. Rooms vary from a standard king-size bedroom to an apartment featuring a full kitchen and balcony… you know, so you can really settle into town. If country charm with a modern twist is more your style, then the Quality Inn Ashby House is worth a squiz. The Retreat at Froog-Moore Park
The Retreat at Froog-Moore Park is a boutique hotel that strives to be more than just a place to sleep. The Tamworth Hotel
Housed inside a building that dates to the 1930s, The Tamworth Hotel is an ideal spot to eat, drink and stay. The rooms are very simple and the bathroom’s shared – so while that might not be for everyone, the convenient location might make up for it. Positioned a block away from the main street of Tamworth, The Tamworth Hotel is open in its goal to be the best country pub in the region. If you wander down from your room for a meal you’ll find a selection of pub classics, including burgers, schnitzel parmigiana and premium steaks from Jack’s Creek. Goonoo Goonoo Station
Approximately 20km south of Tamworth is the Goonoo Goonoo Station. Owned by the Haggarty family, the station has a range of accommodation options, from the single rooms in the Shearers Quarters to entire cottages and a luxurious five-bedroom homestead. The size and location makes Goonoo Goonoo Station a great accommodation option for a range of guests including wedding parties, extended families and couples looking for a romantic getaway. The Country Capital Motel offers a clean and comfortable base from which you can explore the surrounding region. Studio 367
Studio 367 is a luxurious accommodation option where you won’t need to worry about being disturbed; it only has two studio apartments on a two-acre property, surrounded by gardens. The design is simple yet sophisticated, with high ceilings and open-plan living that’s bathed in natural light. Both studios have a small kitchenette with a microwave and fridge, but given the location, there are plenty of local restaurants to choose from if you feel like heading out – when in Rome right?

City Sider Motor Inn
Located in the Tamworth CBD, the City Sider Motor Inn is a few minutes walk from Peel Street and Bicentennial Park. The sleek, bright guest rooms come with air conditioning and complimentary Wi-Fi. What’s more, the more premium rooms also feature a 50-inch Smart TV, small kitchenette and spa bath, perfect for a soak at the end of a long day. Despite what you might envision when you think of a motor inn, the rooms and cottage at the Roydon’s Motor Inn are pretty darn modern. They come with a HD TV, microwave, kettle and reverse cycle air conditioner. There’s also a pool, BBQ area and complimentary Wi-Fi throughout. The Roseville Apartments
If you’re looking for apartment-style accommodation at a reasonable price – look no further than then the Roseville Apartments are worth considering. There are two room types; the one-bedroom apartment and two- storey Townhouse. Both feature a full kitchen, dining area and laundry facilities, but the Townhouse does have more beds (*noted). While there are no dining options on-site, guests do have access to BBQ facilities that can be used to cook a meal out in the garden. If the sun’s beaming down, it’s hot –so there’s also a pool and baby wading pool guests can use to cool down. Phew!
