Surrounded by 100-year-old gardens, the Cairnie Country Cottage really is a place where you can slow down and take the time to smell the roses. Once the homestead laundry, the space became irrelevant following the introduction of electric washing machines in the 1950s, so went unused until it was reimagined and renovated into a small, self-contained cottage. It has a wood-fire heater, spacious kitchen, sunny dining room and quaint, country style bedroom.
