Named as a tribute to Bob Marley, Hope Road is a labour of love for owners Matta and Deb. Their vision was to create a lively space where people enjoy good coffee and the happy service that Matta had experienced in his home country of Brazil. Together they found the property and renovated it themselves to create Hope Road. The coffee beans at Hope Road come from Drumroll Coffee Roasters, a boutique family business. Try them in a dine in or take away coffee of your choice and if you like the taste, you can even take some home! Along with their food and coffee menu, Hope Road sells local products including raw honey, cacao powder and bags of Drumroll coffee beans. After enjoying your coffees and a light meal you might be inclined to leave a tip. All tips are passed directly onto Cantingo do Ceu, a Brazilian care facility founded by Matta’s aunt that is home to over 60 children and adults with significant disabilities.
