Gro Rural
The idea for GRO Rural started following through the growth of GRO Events Group, a rural event management, event marketing and event communications agency in Tamworth, rural NSW. While CEO Dimity felt there were plenty of options to search for rural professional contractors on LinkedIn or with recruitment agencies – this often was at a huge cost and really didn’t showcase rural professionals. It was only after putting a shoutout on Instagram (and subsequently finding there were so many hidden rural talent gems!) that she started to think, ‘I bet there are so many humans out there in rural Australia who want to do more remote work – but business owners can’t find them!’ And so, Gro Rural was born – a connection platform to showcase rural talent and put rural professionals in Australia on the map!
